We cannot make claims for late packages, only missing packages. This process requires and investigation before a conslusion is made. This can take 4-12 weeks to complete, and often does not cover the full cost of missing items, as most carrier only insure up to $100.
DoubleTap Sports Inc. is not responsible for lost, missing, damaged or stolen packages, errors in shipping made by Canada Post, Purolator, FEDEX, UPS, etc. and CANNOT guarantee delivery dates. This is the sole responsibility of the carrier. We cannot control unforeseen events or errors once your package has left our facility.Â
You agree to ensure payment for any items you may purchase from us and you acknowledge and affirm that prices are subject to change. When purchasing a physical good, you agree to provide us with a valid email and shipping address, as well as valid billing information. We reserve the right to reject or cancel an order for any reason, including errors or omissions in the information you provide to us. If we do so after payment has been processed, We will issue a refund to you in the amount of the purchase price. We also may request additional information from you prior to shipping, particularly in the case of restricted products and we reserve the right to place any additional restrictions on the sale of any of our products.
WHEN DO WE SHIP?
DoubleTap Sports shipes everyday Monday to Friday! We do not process orders on the weekends, or government holidays. While we pick, pack and process your orders typically within the next business day, the delivery of your parcel also depends on the efficiency of the postal carrier. There are times of the year where we require 2-3 business days to process your order due to higher volumes. Holiday, sales campaigns and inclement weather can impact shipping and delivery times. The cutoff shipping time is typically 2:30pm EST/EDT.

DELIVERY ESTIMATION
Delivery estimation is an estimate of how long shipping takes after a package is handed to the carrier, not from the moment an order is placed. Processing time, order volume, and carrier pickup schedules all happen before that point. Because of this, the estimated delivery window reflects the carrier’s transit time only, not the full time from checkout to arrival. With that said we do our best to have orders packaged and ready for pickup same day during business hours. UPS and Purolator orders might have a delay since on occasion we are unable to schedule same day pickups.
WHO DO WE SHIP WITH?
We offer shipping options with Canada Post, Purolator, UPS and offer in store pick up.
PLEASE ENSURE YOU CHOOSE THE CORRECT OPTION WHEN CHECKING OUT. IF YOU WISH TO SHIP – PLEASE CHOOSE THAT OPTION. Do not choose pick up in store, if you want your order shipped. We CANNOT provide free shipping, and this will result in a cancelled order, or additional shipping charges.
If you have any issues receiving your parcel once the tracking information shows that the parcel is in the postal system, please contact the carrier directly.
Tracking is provided on all orders. DoubleTap Sports is not liable for any lost orders if the tracking number shows that the order was delivered. Once the package is handed off to a parcel or postal service, the delivery is out of our control. DoubleTap Sports does not take liability for any lost packages. If you have any issues with lost mail, please start a claim with the carrier, if they require us to also make a claim, we will attempt to do so.
USA ORDERS – SUSPENDED
In order to serve our Canadian customers and due to the current export restrictions, we have suspended US retail orders. We are unable to send items across the boarder to retail customers, and encourage you to search for our products from local US dealers. We will update this information once we can safely and easily send orders to the US again.Â
US residents are SOLELY responsible for any tariff charges as a result of oplacing an order – there are tariffs on most Canadian goods entering the United States of America. These are adminstedred by the US government, and we do not know the amount you will be charged ahead of time. We CANNOT pre-pay the charge for you.
We are unable to provide any refunds or exchanges to any goods sold to US residents at this time. If the item is a manufacturer defect or is faulty, please contact us with detailed images, and we will accomodate you.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to a rise in charge backs originating from the United States, we reserve the right to cancel or refund orders under any of the following circumstances: declined payment attempts, discrepancies between billing and shipping addresses, or any other indicators that may suggest the order is potentially fraudulent.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
SHIPPING RATES VARY BY COUNTRY. Customs regulations differ by country and can result in high import duties, delayed fulfillment, or rejection of items.
For all international orders, customers are responsible for any customs charges or taxes imposed by the destination country. We are not responsible for any delays this may cause.
Each country has its own laws and regulations governing the import of goods, including firearm parts and accessories. It is the customer’s responsibility to understand and comply with all applicable rules, restrictions, and licensing requirements in their country before placing an order. International orders are shipped at the buyer’s risk. We strongly recommend contacting your local customs authority prior to ordering to confirm whether the items you are purchasing are permitted and to understand any duties, taxes, or fees that may apply. DoubleTap Sports does not provide advice on import regulations or estimate duty costs.
DoubleTap Sports is not responsible for shipments that are delayed, held, refused, seized, or confiscated by customs for any reason. We are also not liable for the loss of international shipments or for delays caused by customs or the shipping carrier. Once an order has been handed over to the carrier, delivery and transit issues are outside of our control. Any missing or delayed packages must be investigated directly with the shipping carrier.
Some items are restricted from international shipping. This includes select firearm parts, ammunition, powder, primers, brass, projectiles, knives, and firearms. These items can only be shipped to Canadian addresses. If you are unable to check out with an item in your cart, or your country does not appear as a shipping option, the item is likely restricted.Â
By placing an international order, the customer acknowledges and accepts full responsibility for ensuring compliance with their country’s import laws and regulations.
DoubleTap Sports is not liable for packages that are returned to us due to failure to be claimed from the postal office by the customer. Input your phone number at checkout so that Customs has an easier time reaching you. We will NEVER give this information to anyone other than the postal service.
Customers must enter a complete address at checkout. DoubleTap Sports is not liable for inaccurate or incomplete shipping addresses entered by customers.
RETURN TO SENDER
If a package marked “Return to Sender” is delivered back to our warehouse and results in a fee charged to our account, customers may be held responsible for covering that fee if the error is determined to be their fault. Examples of such errors may include providing an incorrect shipping address, failing to retrieve the package from the carrier, or refusing delivery without prior authorization.
We carefully review each case individually to ensure fairness and accuracy before determining whether the fee will be passed on to the customer. Our goal is to maintain transparency while addressing these situations appropriately.

XPRESS POST SHIPPING OPTIONS
When opting for Canada Post Xpress Post, please be aware that there might be price differences not immediately apparent. While we always strive to honour your choice, if the price variance is insignificant, we’ll cover the additional cost. However, in cases where the difference is substantial, we reserve the right to dispatch the package using the quickest service that most closely matches the paid amount. This approach ensures fairness and efficiency in our shipping operations.Â
SHIPPING BRASS, PROJECTILES OR TARGETS
Brass and Projectiles can be shipped but due to the weight/size of these items shipping can be expensive. If several boxes/types/bundles are ordered, the order may be divided into two or more parcels, due to weight/size limitations as outlined by the shipping carriers. Additional shipping costs may apply. Brass and Projectile quantities are determined by weight from the manufacturer. Quantities listed on the packaging, and on our website are approximate.  Small amounts under 50lbs can be sent through Canada Post, or upgraded carrier, but large amounts must be for in-store pick up from our Mississauga location. Â
SHIPPING FIREARMS, AMMUNITION & GUN POWDER IN CANADA
These can only be sold to Canadian residents with a valid firearms license. The following information will be required for purchase:
- Firearms license number (PAL/RPAL),
- Expiry date,
- Full Address and Telephone Number
Orders outside of Ontario may also require home range information, including the range name, address and phone number. Please be aware that out of province orders may take additional time to complete the transfer of restricted firearms, prior to shipping.
Ammunition, Primers, Steel Target Paint and Firearms CANNOT ship together in any combination. Orders containing these items must be made separately, or orders will be divided into two or more parcels, as outlined by the shipping carriers. Additional fees may apply.Â
BULK & REMOTE LOCATION ORDERS
- Overweight and/or large items surcharge – Based on package size and/or weight, additional freight fees may be applicable. While currently unavailable on our website – we can provide quotes for shipping charges of bulk orders. Please contact us via email: [email protected]
- Remote Location – Remote and rural areas may incur additional shipping costs due to charges applied by the shipping carrier. Large, heavy or bulk orders may require additional shipping costs. Â
SHIPPING ERRORS
It is essential that you verify all information is correct in your order prior to shipping. An address that is incorrect MAY be corrected by Canada Post (or upgraded carrier), but is typically sent back to our facility. Address errors such as incorrect postal codes cannot be corrected once the item has left our facility. Customers must enter a complete address at checkout. DoubleTap Sports is not liable for inaccurate or incomplete shipping addresses entered by customers. Customers are responsible for any additional charges incurred if an address requires correction.Â
- Received An Incorrect Item
DoubleTap Sports strives to be error-free but sometimes accidents do happen. If it does, please contact us immediately. We will do our best to remedy the situation. The item returned must be unused and still in the original packaging or extra fees may be incurred. If there is an error in shipment such as the incorrect product being shipped, please contact us immediately by email with your order number, and if possible, a picture of the incorrect item. We will reship the correct product at no additional charge to you IF WE HAVE MADE AN ERROR.
The incorrect return item MUST be returned new, unused and in the original packaging. If it is not, additional charges will be incurred.
- Orders Returned to Sender/Wrong Address/Lost
Orders that are sent back to us, or shipped by us to the wrong address due to customer or Canada Post (or upgraded carrier) error will be re-shipped at the customer’s expense. We provide customers with tracking number(s) and expect packages to be delivered in a timely manner. We do our best to ensure speedy delivery, but are not responsible for errors in shipping, lost, missing, damaged or stolen packages and CANNOT guarantee delivery dates. This is the sole responsibility of Canada Post (or upgraded courier) and while rare, shipping issues do occur.
PLEASE NOTE: Standard Canada Post Insurance is $100. Should you require additional insurance, please contact us. IF YOU DO NOT PURCHASE ADDITIONAL INSURANCE, WE CANNOT CLAIM MORE THAN $100 ON YOUR BEHALF, AND CANNOT REFUND YOU FOR YOUR LOST/STOLEN/DAMAGED/UNDELIVERED ITEMS!Â
We cannot control unforeseen events or errors once your package has left our facility. DoubleTap Sports cannot provide you with an immediate refund for lost, missing or damaged items. Depending on the carrier, we may be able create a service ticket, and monitor the situation as the sender. We will do our best to keep you informed but you MUST co-operate with the investigation conducted with the carrier. Failure to do so will result in a closed service ticket, and a refund/replacement CANNOT be provided. You must monitor your email for all correspondence, and reply.
This investigation time frame is determined by the carrier, not by DoubleTap Sports Inc. We must wait until the conclusion of the investigation to determine what, if any refund is applicable, particularly in cases where additional insurance was not purchased. If a refund is provided by the carrier – it will be passed on to the customer within 5 business days.
ANY PROMOTIONAL FREE SHIPPING OFFERÂ
In the future we MAY offer Free Shipping with a minimum price order. This applies only to shipping WITHIN CANADA and does not apply to shipping to the US, or International Orders. In addition, it typically DOES NOT apply to ammo, projectiles, brass, targets, powder, primers, hazardous or oversize items, PO Box or rural locations, as they require additional shipping charges.
