The Dawson Precision One Piece Toolless Guide Rod is fast and easy to install, and allows you to field strip anywhere, anytime. The one piece system never need tools, pins, or clips to disassemble

• FOR use with Wolff recoil springs. (Will NOT work with ISMI springs!) 
• To be able to use the tool-less guide rod for bushing barrels, you must be able to remove the recoil spring plug from the rear of the slide.
• Thoroughly tested with thousands and thousands of rounds.
• Pistol will STAY TIGHT LONGER because it now EASY to clean and oil your gun.
• Dawson Tool-Less Guide Rod FITS factory STI 1911/2011, SV, Kimber®, Colt® with bushing barrels, compensated, and non-compensated pistols.
• FITS some Springfield 1911 pistols.
• If you are unable to push your spring plug out the rear of the spring tunnel on the slide, the Tool-less Guide Rod will NOT work with your pistol.
