You MUST drill or have pre-existing holes on your frame for this to fit. It is not a drop on additional, nor can it be attached to a slide stop.

This thumb rest comes with two screws. Please note that depending on the thickness of the frame where the thumb rest will be used, users may have to file/shorten the screws down a little (or perhaps even buy longer screws on rare occasions).
